The KUKACARES Foundation has a firm belief in supporting our veterans.
We have helped 2 families through the Macomb County Veterans Center by providing $2500 per family.
Thank you for your service.
KUKACARES donated $25,000.00 toward the naming/funding of a room in the new Ronald McDonald House, Detroit at Detroit Children’s Hospital.
RMH was chosen by charity partner Cooper Lane. It is a charity that he was personally connected to; they familiar with The Ronald McDonald House in Southwestern Ontario and the services they provide for families with sick children as their own son Elliot has become sick. He is thankfully fully cured!
Because of their time at the House, and the refuge they provide for families in need, Cooper wanted to help the Detroit Ronald McDonald House.
“The Detroit RMH was in the middle of a campaign to help fund the construction of a new house and we were looking for something to put our name on. The timing and fit were ideal,” commented Cooper.
Who benefits from our donation?
Families with children staying at the hospital or receiving regular treatments can stay in a room at the house for $10.00/night (or less if the cost can’t be covered). The house provides meals, support, and a place to shut your eyes for a brief moment while you deal with something that no one ever wants to.
